Postponing & Re-Arranging Matches

2024 / 2025

If you are postponing either a snooker or billiards match you must ring the opposing team captain by 1pm on the day of the match and at the same time notify the match secretary by phone or email not by score sheet. If postponing after this time you will be fined 1 point.
For failing to notify the match secretary - 1 pt fine.

The responsibility for re-arranging the match is down to the postponing team they must contact the other team by the contact date shown on the monthly circular which is on the website and displayed in your club.
  If you are the away postponing team, you must phone the home captain who will give you 3 dates he/she must allow you a minimum of three days notice. Once given the date you must accept it.
If the postponing team is at home they must phone the away team captain and offer 3 dates, once given dates, they must accept one within 3 days.It is not allowed to offer 3 of the same days. not all in the same week and no weekends
unless by mutual agreement.
Mondays or Thursdays must not be offered, unless your opponent does not play either snooker or billiards in the league on those nights.

Any team not fielding a full side in 5 matches or postponing 5 matches or a combination of both during one season may be expelled from the league.

ALL MATCHES MUST BE PLAYED BY THE COMPLETION DATE SHOWN ON THE MONTHLY CIRCULAR.
